Remote Microphone
ZT-MNS-RM/B to ZT-MNS-100BAS Series, Installation
Connections
(refer to the pictures and orientations shown below)
Note: The ZT-MNS-100BAS panel interfaces directly with the ZT-MNS-RM/B microphone.
Remote Mic:
1) Hold the Remote Mic panel assembly as shown in the illustrations
2) Remove the larger 4-pin header from its connector
3) Choose a color-code scheme for the wires, shown are the 4-conductor FPL colors;
Red (1) +, Yellow (2) A, Green (3) P, Black (4) -
4) Attach the wires to the header and re-insert into the connector
ZT-MNS-100BAS:
1) Locate and remove J3 on the left side of the main Control Module. This will result in a ' RM-FLT '
and 'System' fault until the Remote Mic is connected
2) Remove and store the two (2) Resistors attached to J4 pins 1&2 and 3&4
3) Attach the cabling for the RM, with the pin 1 going to the Remote Mic's pin 1, pin 2 to pin 2, etc
4) Re-attach J3 to the main board, the 'Remote Microphone' Fault (RM-Fault) should go away
