•
Check for electric lines or pipes, or metal studs in wood battens.
•
Make sure the holes are level.
•
Pre-drill the holes (± 30mm deep) using a power drill and a 3mm wood bit.
•
Fix both plates [A & B] to the wall using two lag bolts [W-A].
Note: mount the left plate [A] in the left position and the right plate [B] in the right.
1b Concrete or Brick Support
•
Choose an installation spot able to support the weight of the screen.
•
Use the wall template [F] to mark the three hole locations:
o
Stick the double sided adhesives [E] to the back of the wall template [F].
o
Peel off the protective paper and stick the template to the wall.
o
Mark the holes and remove the template.
•
Check for electric lines or pipes.
•
Make sure the holes are level.
•
Drill the holes (± 60mm deep) using a power drill and a 10mm masonry bit.
•
Insert a nylon plug [W-B] in each hole.
•
Fix both plates [A & B] to the wall using three lag bolts [W-A].
Note: mount the left plate [A] in the left position and the right plate [B] in the right.
2 Mounting the brackets on the LCD
•
Mount the adaptor brackets [C] (upper positions) and supporting spacers [D] (lower
positions) on the back of the screen using the appropriate M4, M5, M6 or M8 screws and the
appropriate washers (see diagram 2a):
o
Start with the shortest possible screw and screw it into the mounting hole. The screw must
make at least 3 full turns. If not, select a longer screw.
o
You might need to use spacers or extra washers [M-M or M-N] with LCDs with curved or
recessed back panels (see diagram 2b & 2c).
3 Mounting the LCD onto the brackets
•
Hook both adaptor brackets [C] over the wall brackets as illustrated (see diagram 3).
Note: this operation should be done by 2 adult persons!
4 Level the LCD
•
To adjust the horizontal angle, firmly hold opposite angles of the display and gently move it
into the desired position.
Note: check all screws and brackets regularly to ensure safe use.
