With this socket tester you can check whether sockets, cable reels and
extension cords are connected correctly. It detects whether the socket is
connected with the correct polarity and shows wiring errors.
Warning:
This device only works on Live (L1) and Neutral (N) networks (TN network):
•
230V between L1 and N connection. N connection is almost 0V
This device doesn’t work on Live (L1) and Live (L2) (IT network):
•
230V between L1 and L2 connection. L1 and L2 gives 115V
between Earth and L1 or L2
Visual Indicators:
The tool is equipped with a series of LED lights. The socket tester will light
up GREEN, GREEN, OFF and the buzzer is continuously on for correct
polarity. Any other combination indicates a fault.
