This symbol on the device or the package indicates that
disposal of the device after its lifecycle could

unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal
waste; it should be taken to a specialized
company for recycling. This device should be
returned to your distributor or to a local

Safety Instructions
● Read and understand this manual and all safety signs
before using this appliance. ● Class III appliance. ● Indoor
use only. ● This appliance is not a toy. Do not let children
play with or near the appliance. ● This device can be used
by children aged from 8 years and above, and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the device
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the device. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision. ● WARNING - This tool must be placed on its
stand when not in use. ● Do not leave the appliance
unattended when switched on. Only use on a heatproof
workbench. Let a hot appliance cool down naturally and do
not immerse in water. ● WARNING – HOT SURFACE. The
glue and the nozzle of the appliance can reach high
temperatures. Avoid all skin contact. ● Do not use near
inflammable products or in explosive atmospheres. Be
careful when using the appliance in places where there are
combustible materials. Do not use in presence of an
explosive atmosphere. Heat may be conducted to
combustible materials, which are out of sight. Only use in
properly ventilated rooms. ● Do not use the appliance in
damp or wet conditions. Do not immerge the device in any
liquid. Keep the main unit away from high heat and fire.
● Do not inhale the fumes. The vapours that are released
during use are harmful. Therefore, you shall only use the
appliance in well-ventilated areas or under an exhaust
hood.

abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.
● Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device
before actually using it. ● All modifications of the device
are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user
modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.
● Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the
device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
● Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this
manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will
not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or
problems. ● Keep this manual for future reference.

Operation
Power Supply
● We recommend powering the appliance through a
compatible USB port. ● When using a power bank, ensure
that it meets the power requirements stated in the
specifications section.
General Operation
● Make sure the appliance is disconnected from the power
supply and cooled. ● Select the desired tip and finger
tighten it to the gun. Do not overtighten. ● Insert a glue
stick into the back of the appliance (only use with
7.5 x 100 mm glue sticks). Squeeze the trigger several
times until the glue stick is firmly set into the inlet tube.
● Connect the appliance to the power source and switch on
the appliance. ● Leave the appliance to heat up. Glue
should flow freely from the tip when ready. ● Squeeze the
trigger gently to extrude glue from the nozzle. ● When
finished, disconnect from the power supply and let cool
completely for at least 30 minutes.
Note:
To ensure continuous glue flow, insert a second glue
stick into the back of the appliance. When using the
appliance for the first time, it may be necessary to insert
additional glue sticks before the appliance becomes fully
operational.

Maintenance
● Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking
new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or
strong detergents. ● Store the appliance, its accessories
and this user manual in the original packaging. Always
store in a cool and dry place.

weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan
toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel
(en eventuele batterijen) niet bij het gewone
huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een
gespecialiseerd bedrijf terechtkomen voor
recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw verdeler of naar een

2.
Veiligheidsvoorschriften
● Lees
en
begrijp
deze
handleiding
en
de
veiligheidsinstructies vóór ingebruikname. ● Toestel klasse
III. ● Gebruik het toestel enkel binnenshuis. ● Dit toestel
is geen speelgoed. Laat kinderen niet met of in de buurt
van het toestel spelen. ● Dit toestel is geschikt voor
gebruik door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar, door personen met
fysieke, zintuiglijke of verstandelijke beperkingen, of door
personen met gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, op
voorwaarde dat dit onder toezicht gebeurt van een
persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid of hun
aanwijzingen heeft gegeven, hoe zij het toestel moeten
gebruiken en zich bewust zijn van de risico's die het
gebruik van het toestel met zich meebrengt. Kinderen
mogen niet met het toestel spelen. De reiniging en het
onderhoud van het toestel mogen niet worden uitgevoerd
door kinderen, tenzij ze onder toezicht staan.
● WAARSCHUWING - Plaats het toestel op de houder
wanneer u deze niet gebruikt. ● Laat het toestel niet
onbeheerd achter wanneer het ingeschakeld is. Gebruik
het toestel op een hittebestendig oppervlak. Laat het
toestel op natuurlijke wijze afkoelen en dompel nooit onder
in water. ● WAARSCHUWING – HEET OPPERVLAK. De lijm
en het mondstuk van het toestel kunnen zeer warm
worden. Vermijd contact met de huid. ● Gebruik het
toestel niet in de nabijheid van brandbare producten of
explosieve gassen. Wees voorzichtig wanneer het toestel
wordt gebruikt in de nabijheid van ontvlambare
materialen. Gebruik het toestel niet in een omgeving waar
explosiegevaar bestaat. Warmte kan door geleiding
worden verspreid naar ontvlambare materialen die niet
direct zichtbaar zijn. Gebruik het toestel enkel in een goed
geventileerde ruimte. ● Gebruik het toestel niet in een
vochtige of natte omgeving. Dompel het toestel nooit
onder in een vloeistof. Stel het toestel niet bloot aan
extreme temperaturen of vuur. ● Adem de vrijgekomen
dampen nooit in. De dampen die tijdens het gebruik
ontstaan, zijn schadelijk. Gebruik daarom het toestel enkel
in een goed geventileerde ruimte of onder een geschikte
afzuiging.

Algemene richtlijnen

www.velleman.eu. ● Bescherm tegen schokken. Vermijd
brute kracht tijdens de bediening van het toestel. ● Leer
eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat
gebruiken. ● Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen
wijzigingen aanbrengen. Schade door wijzigingen die de
gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan het toestel valt niet onder
de garantie. ● Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het
gemaakt is. De garantie vervalt automatisch bij
ongeoorloofd gebruik. ● De garantie geldt niet voor schade
door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze
handleiding en uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid
afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks
verband mee houden. ● Bewaar deze handleiding voor
verdere raadpleging.
4.
Gebruik
Voeding
● Het is raadzaam om het toestel via een compatibele
USB-poort te voeden. ● Bij gebruik van een powerbank,
zorg ervoor dat het toestel voldoet aan de stroomvereisten
vermeld in de specificaties.
Algemeen
● Zorg ervoor dat het toestel ontkoppeld en afgekoeld is.
● Kies het gewenste mondstuk en bevestig handvast aan
het pistool. Draai niet te vast aan. ● Duw zachtjes een
lijmpatroon in de achterkant van het toestel (gebruik enkel
7.5 x 100 mm lijmpatronen). Knijp meermaals de trekker
in om het lijmpatroon door het lijmpistool te voeren.
● Sluit het toestel aan op de voedingsbron en schakel het
toestel in. ● Laat het toestel opwarmen. De lijm vloeit uit
het mondstuk. ● Knijp voorzichtig de trekker in om lijm uit
het mondstuk te laten vloeien. ● Trek de stekker uit na
gebruik en laat het toestel minstens 30 minuten volledig
afkoelen.
Opmerking:
Voor een constante lijmaanvoer, vervang het
oude lijmpatroon voordat deze compleet leeg is. Wanneer
u het toestel voor de eerste keer gebruikt, kan het zijn dat
u extra lijmpatronen moet doorvoeren voordat het toestel
correct functioneert.
5.
Onderhoud
● Reinig het toestel af en toe met een vochtige doek.
Gebruik

producten,
reinigingsmiddelen of sterke detergenten. ● Bewaar het
toestel, de toebehoren en deze handleiding in de
oorspronkelijke verpakking. Bewaar het toestel steeds in
een koele en droge ruimte.
