Safety Instructions
●
This device can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the device in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the device.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.

abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.

Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device
before actually using it. ●
All modifications of the device
are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user
modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.

Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the
device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.

Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this
manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will
not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or
problems.

Battery
Warning:
Do not puncture batteries or throw them in fire
as they may explode. Do not attempt to recharge non-
rechargeable batteries (alkaline). Dispose of batteries in
accordance with local regulations. Keep batteries away
from children.
6.
Operation
•
Insert 1 AAA battery in the lower battery compartment
on the back of the device.
•
°F/°C button: Select the desired temperature unit.
•
Alert/Set: keep this button pressed for 2 seconds: the
'OUT' temperature reading blinks: this is the maximum
value.
•
Press the "°C/°F" button to set the temperature: each
time you press, 1° is added. Keep the button pressed
to go faster.
•
From 70 °C (158 °F), the device jumps to -50 °C (-
58 °F).
•
When you have set the maximum temperature, press
the "Alert/Set" button again to select the 'IN'
temperature reading, which is the minimum value.
•
Press the "°C/°F" button again to set the temperature.
•
When the minimum temperature is set, press the
"Alert/Set" button again to exit the alert temperature
setting. The alert function is now ON.
•
Press the "Alert/Set" button to toggle between ON and
OFF. When the alert function is on, the device will emit
4 sound signals every 30 seconds when either the
device itself or the probe is measuring a temperature
outside the set range. This function makes the device
suitable for e.g. frost or overheating monitoring.
•
Max/min button: Press once to display the maximum
in- and outdoor readings since the last reset; press
again to display the minimum in- and outdoor readings
since the last reset; press again to display the current
readings.
•
Reset button: press this button to reset the
memorized maximum and minimum values and the
alert values.
7.
Maintenance
●
Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking
new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or
strong detergents.

weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan
toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel

gespecialiseerd bedrijf terechtkomen voor
recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw verdeler of naar een

Veiligheidsvoorschriften

Dit toestel is geschikt voor gebruik door kinderen vanaf
8 jaar, door personen met fysieke, zintuiglijke of
verstandelijke beperkingen, of door personen met gebrek
aan ervaring en kennis, op voorwaarde dat dit onder
toezicht gebeurt van een persoon die verantwoordelijk is
voor hun veiligheid of hun aanwijzingen heeft gegeven,
hoe zij het toestel moeten gebruiken en zich bewust zijn
van de risico's die het gebruik van het toestel met zich
meebrengt. Kinderen mogen niet met het toestel spelen.
De reiniging en het onderhoud van het toestel mogen niet
worden uitgevoerd door kinderen, tenzij ze onder toezicht
staan.

Bescherm tegen schokken. Vermijd
brute
kracht tijdens de bediening van het toestel. ●
Leer
eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat
gebruiken. ●
Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen
wijzigingen aanbrengen. Schade door wijzigingen die de
gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan het toestel valt niet onder
de garantie. ●
Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het
gemaakt is. De garantie vervalt automatisch bij
ongeoorloofd gebruik. ●
De garantie geldt niet voor schade
door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze
handleiding en uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid
afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks
verband mee houden. ●
Bewaar deze handleiding voor
verdere raadpleging.
5.
Batterij
Waarschuwing:
U mag batterijen nooit doorboren of in
het vuur gooien (explosiegevaar). Herlaad geen
alkalinebatterijen. Gooi batterijen weg volgens de
plaatselijke milieuwetgeving. Houd batterijen buiten het
bereik van kinderen.
6.
Gebruik
•
Plaats 1 AAA batterij in het onderste batterijvak
achteraan het toestel.
•
°F/°C: Selecteer de gewenste temperatuureenheid.
•
Alert/Set: Houd deze toets gedurende 2 seconden
ingedrukt: de 'OUT' uitlezing knippert: dit is de
maximumwaarde.
•
Stel de temperatuur in met de "°C/°F" toets: voor
iedere druk komt er 1° bij. Hou de toets ingedrukt om
sneller te gaan.
•
Het toestel springt van 70 °C (158 °F) naar -50 °C (-
58 °F).
•
Hebt u de maximumtemperatuur ingesteld, druk dan
op de "Alert/Set" toets om naar de 'IN' uitlezing te
gaan, die de minimumwaarde voorstelt.
•
Druk op "°C/°F" om de temperatuur in te stellen.
•
Is de minimumtemperatuur ingesteld, druk dan nog
eens op de "Alert/Set" toets om de alarminstelling te
verlaten. De alarmfunctie is nu actief.
•
Druk op de "Alert/Set" om tussen ON en OFF te
schakelen. Wanneer de alarmfunctie actief is en het
toestel meet (zelf of via de sonde) een temperatuur
die buiten het ingestelde bereik valt, zal het toestel
elke 30 seconden 4 geluidssignalen produceren. Door
deze functie kunt u het toestel bv. gebruiken als vorst-
of oververhittingverklikker.
•
MAX/MIN: Druk 1 keer om de maxima binnen en
buiten te zien sinds de laatste reset; druk nog eens
om de minima binnen en buiten te zien sinds de
laatste reset; druk nog eens om terug te keren naar
de huidige uitlezing.
•
Reset: Druk op deze toets om de minima, de maxima
en de alarmwaarden te resetten.
7.
Onderhoud
●
Reinig het toestel af en toe met een vochtige doek.
Gebruik
