Only three wires are used to connect the transmitter with the display.

Connect one wire between the + from the display and the + of the transmitter 
(connection next to R5)

Connect one wire between the - from the display and the - of the transmitter 
(connection next to C5)

Connect one wire between C on the display and the connection at R1 on the
