Lifting, moving and handling

Transformers with eyebolts on the the tank cover

Whenever the lifting eyebolts are placed on the cover 

because the weight of the transformer so allows, and 

they are identified in yellow (Figure 2.9).

In the case of transformers of lower weight, two or four 

optional eyebolts are available on the cover.
In the case of transformers with four eyebolts 

considerably far apart, four lifting hooks must be used 

simultaneously.
In the case of transformers with two eyebolts, or four 

eyebolts very close together, two hooks with the 

suitable means can be used. (Figure 2.10).
