ENA type system switchgears are operated with
three different types of handle, depending on the type of
driving mechanism used.
2.2.1
Switch - disconnector driving mechanism
handle (B)
It is an antireflex handle system with two different handles
for performing operations on the switch - disconnector -
earthing switch located in the switchgears.
Using the “grey” one, it goes from closed position, or vice
versa.
Using the "yellow" one, it goes from open position to
earthing position, or vice versa.

This type of handle prevents the opposite operation being
carried out immediately after opening or closing the switch.
2.2.2
Spring charging handle for circuit
breaker driving mechanisms
The spring charging handle is used to manually charge the
springs in the circuit breaker driving mechanism.

CAUTION
For safety reasons, maintenance operations
performed directly on the driving mechanism must be
performed WITHOUT any operating handle inserted.
CAUTION
Under improper operation, deformation on arm could
be observed which is as designed to provide strain
relief for the main mechanism.
