2.1 Checking voltage presence and
phase balance

Firstly, connect the red cables of the
ekor.

unit to the
corresponding phase test points on the voltage indication
units, and the black cable to the earth test point. This
operation should be repeated for all the phases: L1, L2 and
L3

CAUTION
Before carrying out any operation when the
switchgear is energised, we recommend checking
the gas pressure, using the manometer.
In case of low gas pressure, contact to nearest
Ormazabal office.
Checking that the medium voltage cables are
correctly connected to the feeder switchgears must
be done. Comparison devices which comply with
the IEC 62271-206 standard may be used.
