avoided, can result minor or moderate injury. 

 

This signal word warns of possible physical damage. 

Intended Use 

The sun sail is designed exclusively as sun protection. Use the sun sail only as described in 

these operating instructions. Any other usage is considered to be improper and may lead to 

material damages or even personal injuries. The sun sail is not a toy for children to play. The 

manufacturer or dealer will not assume any liability for damage caused by improper or 

incorrect use. 

Safety instructions 

 

  Risk of burns and fire! The sun sail is made of highly flammable material that can 

cause a fire. 

  Do not use an open fire, electrical devices (e.g. heaters) or other combustion devices 

inside or near the sun sail. 

  Do not place hot devices near the sun sail. 

  Please observe the safety instructions for these devices 

  Danger of suffocation! Children can strangle and suffocate while playing with the 

transport bag or guy ropes. 

  Do not let children play with the transport bag and the guy ropes. 

  

  The sun sail can protect your skin from direct UV radiation but not from reflective UV 

radiation. 

  Risk of injury! Children can injure themselves while playing with the sand pegs or the 

rack. 

  Keep children away from the sand pegs and the rack. 

  

  Risk of damage! Improper handling of the sun sail can cause damage. 

  Do not set up the sun sail during storm or similar weather conditions. - If a storm or 

thunderstorm is coming up, dismantle the sun sail. 

  Do not set up the sun sail in sloping terrain. 

  Handle the product carefully. It can be damaged by impacts or falling from even a low 

height 

  Never carry out repairs yourself. Do not use the sail or rack if it is damaged.
