M aintenance
W hen used as directed in normal operation , VEGAMET
624
is
completely maintenance free .

R ectify malfunctions
T he operator of the system is responsible for taking suitable measures
to rectify malfunctions .
A maximum of reliability is ensured . N evertheless , faults can occur
during operation . T hese may be caused by the following , e . g .:

I nterference on the cables
T
he fi rst measures to be taken are to check the input and output signal
as well as to evaluate the error messages via the display
. T
he
procedure is described below

urther comprehensive diagnostics can
be carried out on a PC with PACT ware and the suitable DTM . I n many
cases , the causes can be determined in this way and faults recti fi ed .
H owever , should these measures not be successful , call the VEGA

he signal conditioning instrument and the connected sensors are
permanently monitored during operation and the values entered during
parameter adjustment are checked for plausibility
. I f irregularities
occur or in case of incorrect parameter adjustment , a fault signal is
triggered . I n case of an instrument defect or line break / shortcircuit , a
fault signal is also triggered .
T he fail safe relay deenergises in case of failure , the failure indication
lights and the current outputs react according to their con fi gured
control behaviour
