6.2 First use
First cleaning
Clean the appliance before the first use (see 7.2 Cleaning).
Connect the appliance
Make sure that the connection is protected by an earth leakage circuit breaker
Alternating current conection
Insert the plug in the socket.
The installation of the appliance is completed.
6.3 How to use
Operating elements and advice.
The operating elements control the functions.
The pilot lights show the operating state.
When the pilot light on switch 1 is on:
The appliance is on.
When the pilot light on switch 0 is on:
The appliance is switched off.
DANGER!
Life danger due to mains voltage!
Make sure that the voltage and frequency of the mains correspond to the values speci-
fied in the rating plate.
Connect the line cord exclusively to a socket with ground wire.
Do not use an extension cable or a multiple socket adapter to connect the appliance.
Make sure that the line cord is not damaged.
When connecting the appliance to a socket without ground wire:
Ask qualified personnel to install the appliance.
When connecting the appliance directly to the mains supply:
Ask qualified personnel to install the appliance.
