LOCATION OF CONTROLS
INSTALLATION
1.
Open the cover of the battery compartment install 3 “AAA” 1.5V batteries.
2.
Connect the coiled cord to handset and the telephone base.
3.
Connect the telephone wire to the telephone set and wall jack.
4.
Connect AC adapter to the phone set and the AC socket.
BASIC PHONE FEATURES
RESET YOUR PHONE
1.
After initial install battery, the phone will reset and LCD will show: ENGLISH. Press UP or DOWN button
to setup the desired language, press SPEAKER button to confirm.
2.
Next LCD will display “MAX DATABANK=032”, and the “032” for max name book capability will flash,
name book function is not applicable to this unit. Press UP or DOWN button to set your max name book
capability to “MAX DATABANK=000”, press SPEAKER button to confirm.
3.
Next LCD will display “CID STORAGE=069” (069 for your phone max caller ID storage, see follow), your
phone complete reset and ready for working.
SET LCD CONTRAST, DATE, TIME, LOCAL AREA CODE & LONG PROFIX CODE
1. In the on-hook status, press and hold DELETE button, LCD will show: ENGLISH. Press UP or DOWN
button to setup the desired language, press DELETE button to confirm.
2. LCD will display “SETTING CONTRAST” to set LCD contrast, press UP or DOWN button to set your
desired contrast (1-5), press DELETE button to confirm.
3. When the LCD show “ Y.” date & time, and the digit of the year will flash, press the UP or DOWN button
to adjust the year\month\ date\hour\minute required and confirm each digit by pressing DELETE button.
4. When the LCD show “SET LOCAL CODE” for you to set the area code, press the UP or DOWN button to
adjust the first digit from “0 – 9”, press DELETE button to confirm it. Repeat above step set the other
digits, and adjust the last digit to be “-” if the area code have less than four numbers.
