The following safety symbols are used in this manual to alert you to important safety hazards and precautions.
Safety Warnings

explosive if ignited.

Fuels and their vapors are extremely

High voltage exists in, and is supplied
to, the device. A potential shock haz-
ard exists.

Knowledge of all related procedures
before you begin work is important.

thoroughly. If you do not understand
a procedure, ask someone who does.

Heed the adjacent instructions to avoid
damage to equipment, property, envi-

Leaking tanks can create serious environmental and health hazards. Improper
programming and operation may also result in equipment self-test failures
and submersible pump shutdowns.
To ensure proper installation, operation, and continued safe use of this
product:
1. Read and follow all instructions in this manual, including all safety
warnings.
2. Have equipment installed by a contractor trained in its proper installation
and in compliance with all applicable codes including: the National
Electrical Code; federal, state, and local codes; and other applicable
safety codes.
3. Ensure that this equipment is properly programmed.
4. Operate this equipment in accordance with the instructions in this
manual.
5. Promptly investigate any alarm conditions.
6. Substitution of components may impair intrinsic safety.
