Optional RS-232 Serial Interface

• System hardware includes: 3150 Neuron, FTT-10 Free Topology Transceiver, 32K PROM, 32K SRAM, dip-switch
selectable node address.
• Neuron controller software is contained in a PROM integrated circuit.
Optional RS-232 Serial Interface
• Baud rate options: 300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600; default 2400.
• Parity options: None, Odd, Even; default Even.
• Data length options: 8 or 7; default 7.
• Number of stop bits options: 1 or 2; default 1.
• No RS-232 hardware handshaking options; RX, TX, and Signal Ground. The TLS-IB serial interface connections to
J7 (on TLS-IB Power Supply Board, see Figure 27 on page 32)
are
shown in Table 8.
• Veeder-Root RS-232 command protocol format applies. Table 9 lists serial commands recognized by the TLS-IB:
