There are two

uid cells that are commonly used for

uid imaging:

Model FC is a

uid cell can be used for imaging samples in

only.

uid cell that can be used for imaging samples in

TappingMode or Contact Mode.

These two

uid cells differ only in that the TappingMode

uid cell has a piezoelectric element that

provides the probe oscillation needed for TappingMode.
