7.12. Void and Correction
This chapter informs you about the void function. Whether
or not you can use this function depends on programming
and configuration of your MobileXL.
You can cancel bookings if for instance an operator made
false entries. Furthermore, you can program and configure
the MobileXL so that PLUs are cancelled and the respective
invoice is corrected, if a customer returns items.
7.13. Using a wireless network for data transfer
This chapter tells you how to use the wireless network for
data transfer.
Prerequisite for using a wireless network is that it was in-
stalled as described in chapter 6.3.2 “Installing a wireless
network” on page 70 .
Functions like eg calling a GC possibly only work if radio
communication between MobileXL POS system and an
access point is established. This depends on the program-
ming of your MobileXL POS system, for instance if GCs are
stored on a GC server.
If radio communication between MobileXL POS system and
the access point is interrupted, it is automatically re-estab-
lished when the radio signal is available again. Data stored
on the MobileXL POS system is transferred then.
