10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet Port
The 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet LAN ports 1 and 2 use 8-pin RJ-45 connector.
LAN 1 and LAN 2 are equipped with Intel
®
I210 LAN chip. Using suitable RJ-45
cable, you can connect SPC-4500 system to a computer, or to any other piece
of equipment that has an Ethernet connection; for example, a hub or a switch.
Moreover, both of them have Wake-on-LAN and Preboot Execution Environment
capabilities. The following diagram shows the pin assignment for LAN 1 and
LAN 2 port.

Each LAN port supports standard RJ-45 connector with LED indicator to present
Active/Link/Speed status of the connection.
The LED indicator on the right bottom corner lightens in solid green when the
cable is properly connected to a 100Mbps Ethernet network. The LED indicator
on the right bottom corner lightens in solid orange when the cable is properly
connected to a 1000Mbps Ethernet network. The left LED will keep twinkling/off
when Ethernet data packets are being transmitted/received.
