GENERAL OPERATION

General

Switching On / Off

To switch on the headunit, short-press the 

 

knob.
To switch off the headunit, long-press the 

 

button.

Selecting a Source

Your headunit is designed for different types of 
sources, depending on your headunit model.

TUNER
SD/MMC 
USB
AUX
BLUETOOTH

Short-press the 

 button to change the source.  

If the external media, e.g. SD card, is connected 
or inserted, the corresponding source will be-
come available for selection.

SOUND

SOUND Menu

You can select the different sound settings from 
the SOUND menu.
The following options are available in the below 
shown sequence:

Volume
DSP
Bass
Treble
Balance
Fader
Loudness

To navigate the SOUND menu:

Short-press the 

 button to select the 

required option.

Turn the 

 knob clockwise or counter-clock-

wise to select the option.

Note: The headunit will automatically exit the 
SOUND menu after 6 seconds of inaction.

Mute (silence)

When the headunit is switched on, short-press 

the 

 knob to mute the sound.  If a media (e.g. 

USB or SD/MMC) is playing, it will be muted.  
Short-press the same knob again to un-mute the 
sound and the media will continue playing.

Note: Turning the volume knob to ‘VOLUME 
0’ will also mute the sound, but if the current 
source is USB or SD / MMC, the media will con-
tinue playing in the background.

Equalizer function

Press the 

 button on the headunit or 

SOUND

 

button on the remote control to select one of the 
programmed equalizer settings.

Classic
Pop
Rock
Off

Balance

To change the balance between the amount of 
sound output on the left and right side.

Short-press the 

 button to select the 

sound control Balance (BAL).

Turn the 

 knob to adjust the level of sound 

output to the left and right speakers.

Bass 

(only when DSP is off)

To change the enhancement of low frequency.

Press the 

 button to select the sound 

control Bass (BAS).

Turn the 

 knob to adjust the level of bass 

enhancement.

Treble 

(only when DSP is off)

To change the enhancement of high frequency.

Press the 

 button to select the sound 

control Treble (TRE).

Turn the 

 knob to adjust the amount of 

treble enhancement.

Fader

To change the amount of sound output to the 
front and rear speakers.

Press the 

 button to select the sound 

control Fader (FAD).

Turn the 

 knob to adjust the level of sound 

output to the front and rear speakers.
