INTERNET ACCESS
Internet Access*
With the internet access, it is possible
to surf the World Wide Web, provided
that the mobile phone connected to the
MC 5400 has a network connection.

Select the symbol for the internet in
the main menu.

The internet access menu appears.
The following internet access options are available:
WWW (internet browser)
Opens the internet browser and establishes a connection to the World Wide Web
(provided a homepage is specified). The pointer in the internet browser can be moved
via the cursor buttons on the remote control. The screen symbols in the browser menu
bar are used to control the browser functions.

Auto Hide the toolbar
Move the pointer away from the toolbar in order to hide the toolbar. Move the
pointer to the top edge of the screen in order to show the toolbar again.
Information on internet browser:
In order to be able to use the internet functions, a user profile must first be created
and the provider settings must be made.

The internet browser does not support file downloads.
Plug-ins such as Shockwave or Flash are not supported.
Settings
Opens the menu for configuration of the internet access with the following settings:

Profile
One of three possible user profiles can be selected, in which the individual home-
pages and dial-in parameters can be stored.
■
Provider
One of three possible provider profiles can be selected for dial-in. The provider data
required for dial-in can be entered under “Parameters”.
■
Telephone
The type of mobile phone connected to the MC 5400 can be selected.
■
Load images
This stipulates whether or not images on internet pages should be downloaded
(may save time and connection charges).

Parameters
Data for internet access is entered.
