3 You can see whether or not the KITAS has been paired with
a TCO in the
KITAS
display.

KITAS = MTCO
The KITAS has been paired with an MTCO 1324.
•
KITAS = DTCO
The KITAS has been paired with a DTCO 1381.
•
KITAS = unpaired
The KITAS has not yet been paired with a tachograph.
The KITAS 2170 can only be paired with an MTCO 1324. For
this type of sensor,
KITAS = MTCO is always shown in the
KITAS display. ◄
Important
The first time the KITAS 2171 is paired with tachograph types
MTCO 1324 or DTCO 1381, the KITAS 2171 is permanently
configured for that particular tachograph type and can only be
used for that type in future.
