4 Packaging and transport
4.1 Packing the machine
The machine must be properly packed in order to transport it safely. The machine manufacturer
recommends transporting it in the type of packaging which is used to transport it from the factory.
4.2 Transporting the machine
4.3 Unpacking the machine
The procedure for unpacking the machine is as follows:
1. Move the packed machine as close as possible to the installation site. For more information on
this please see chapter "5.1 Site requirements".
2. Remove the packaging and check that the entire consignment is complete, cross-checking with
the delivery papers. Also check for any signs of transportation damage.
3. If the machine has suffered transportation damage, contact the forwarding agent and the
machine supplier immediately. The address and contact numbers of the machine manufacturer
are contained in chapter "1 Introduction".
4. Lift the machine off the pallet with the help of a fork lift. Two lifting slots are provided on the base
of the machine for this task.
5. Place the machine in its final place of installation.
The packaging and transport elements are the correct size for the machine and we recommend
that you store them in a dry place for any future transport.
Always ensure that the machine remains horizontal and is not tilted! Please
contact the VC999 Customer Service Department if the machine was tilted or
fell over during transportation!
Always keep the machine in a horizontal position!
If the machine is damaged, hold onto all the packaging materials and await
further instructions!
