Preface

Important Note
The Multi-Format Set Top Box can be used with VEMS 5.x systems and
with VEMS 6.x systems. These systems are architected differently and as a result, the
interaction with the set top box is slightly different. When using this guide, be sure to note
whether the text applies to VEMS 5.x or to VEMS 6.x. If not specifically stated, the feature
or function works the same for both versions of VEMS.
