Emergency Broadcast
An emergency broadcast is a scheduled event that can be executed by ETV Portal Server
users with appropriate permissions. It broadcasts a live or stored video to specified VBricks
or STBs in case of an emergency. The broadcast is launched instantly, for a specified duration,
and preempts all other broadcasts. When done (or manually stopped) all preempted schedules
automatically resume. Emergency broadcast templates are pre-defined in advance by
administrators. See the
ETV Portal Server Administrator Guide
for more information.
