Why does the vacuum cleaner have no power?

•  It may not be plugged into the electrical outlet correctly. Ensure that the plug is pushed 

  into the electrical outlet securely.

•  The electrical supply may not be working. If unsure consult an electrician.

•  Check the fuse in the plug if this needs replacing, always replace with a British 13amp fuse.

•  The motor thermostat may have tripped. Switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner. Leave for one hour 

  before switching the vacuum cleaner back on.

Why won’t the vacuum cleaner pick up?

•  Dust bag may be full or incorrectly fitted; remove the dust bag from the vacuum replace/refit correctly.

•  The filter may be clogged; clean or replace the filter. 

•  The filter may not be fitted correctly; refit the filter.

•  There may be a blockage in the floorhead or hose; remove any blockages.

•  Back panel may not fitted or fitted correctly; refit back panel.

•  The hose may not be fitted correctly; refit. 

Why is dust escaping from the vacuum?

•  The filter may be clogged; clean or replace the filter. 

•  The dust bag may be damaged or full; change the dust bag.

•  The dust bag may be incorrectly fitted; refit dust bag.

•  The hose may not be fitted correctly; refit. 

Why is the brushbar not turning?

•  Brushbar may be blocked; clear any dirt and debris, stand the vacuum upright to reset.

•  The belt may have broken; replace belt.

•  The brushbar may be damaged; replace brushbar.
