Electric drive unit
The vehicle is equipped with an
electric drive unit that contains a 1-
gear transmission. The drive selector
is located on the centre console next
to the steering wheel.
Caution
Spinning the tyres or holding the
vehicle in one place on a hill using
only the accelerator pedal may
damage the electric drive unit. If
you are stuck, do not spin the
tyres. When stopping on a hill, use
the brakes to hold the vehicle in
place.
D : drive mode
N : neutral
R : reverse gear, engage only when
the vehicle is stationary
Shifting
Shifting always starts from N and is
operated by pushing the respective
button. Once operated, the button of
the selected gear is illuminated.
The selected gear is indicated in rear
view mirror display.
Neutral N
In this position, the propulsion system
does not transfer torque to the
wheels. When the ignition has been
switched on, the drive selector is
always in mode N.
The electric drive unit will shift to N
automatically if the driver's door is
opened.
