Tools:

Tool, AMP contact insertion, extraction (07.4001.0003)
Channels locks, 2 pair (as necessary)

To remove and replace input cable CPC 17-16 connector:

Step 1. Disassemble connector:

a. Using channel locks, loosen strain relief and pull away from

connector body.

b. Using channel locks, separate front receptacle from connector

body.

Step 2. Using Amp pin extraction tool, remove all pins from connector.

Step 3. At replacement connector, install pins using following pinouts:

CAUTION: To avoid damaging cable connectors and to ease future
repairs, do not apply Loctite 242 to either clamp/shell or connector.

Step 4. Re-assemble connector by doing Step 1 in reverse.
