Continue with limited functionality. After selection, the touch screen
shows a warning symbol. The warning symbol will be removed when the
fault condition is resolved.
Depending on the fault condition, use of the collimator with limited functionality is
possible.
Color of the status LED:
Red.
The last known shutter position of one of the shutter pairs is < 8 cm. Turning the
control knobs might result in a green flashing status LED.
Green, flashing
The last known shutter position of one of the shutter pairs is 8 cm. It is not
advised to use the collimator, although use with limited functionality is possible.
NOTE:
The displayed value of the X-ray field size on the touch screen is
not reliable. The size of the X-ray field must be checked by using the
light field indication.
Error codes
The table below shows error codes that can be displayed on the touch screen. Restarting the
collimator may resolve the fault condition.

Internal memory fault.

Data memory is unexpectedly loaded with default values.
WARNING: Because all values in the data memory are loaded with
default values, this fault requires:
• re-calibration of the rotation sensor (see §3.9).
• re-calibration of the cross shutters (see §3.9).
• re-calibration of the long shutters (see §3.9).
• when needed, re-adjustment of parameters.
