This chapter provides the information necessary to install the CompactRAN CDMA/
GSM base station in the field.
Before installing the CompactRAN CDMA/GSM base station, make sure you have:
• Installed the server software and ConfigCenter. Refer to the Vanu Software
Installation Guide.
• Set up the power source
• Set up the Ethernet source
Caution:
Do NOT disassemble the CompactRAN CDMA/GSM
base station casings. Contact
Vanu Technical Support
for any hardware issues.
