IMPORTANT:
This manual must always be kept with the tractor. For extra copies, contact your Valtra
dealer.
NOTE:
This manual is for all users of Valtra tractors. The availability of the attachments indicated, on the
basic tractor or as accessories, may vary according to the region in which the tractor is used. To find out
which attachments are available in a region, contact a Valtra dealer.
This manual enables the owner and the operator to operate the tractor appropriately under normal
conditions of use. Providing they follow the instructions carefully, the tractor will give many years of service
in the Valtra tradition.
During commissioning of the equipment by the Valtra dealer on the user's premises, the user must ensure
that the operating and servicing instructions are properly understood. If the user has any doubt regarding
the operation or servicing of the tractor, the Valtra dealer should always be contacted. It is essential that
these instructions are understood and followed.
This manual covers all operating and safety instructions relevant to the Valtra tractor. For implements and
accessories that may be installed at the time of the tractor's delivery or later, the user must refer to the
Operator's Manuals relating to these implements and accessories.
This chapter supplements any safety instructions given in other chapters of this manual. It lists safety-
related situations that may be encountered during the normal operating and servicing of the tractor with
the purpose of enabling the user to work in complete safety.
Depending on the implements and accessories used, and the working conditions on-site or in the servicing
area, additional precautions should be followed. Valtra cannot exercise direct control over the
commissioning, operation, inspection, lubrication or servicing of the tractor. Consequently, Valtra cannot be
held responsible if the user fails to take appropriate safety precautions for the implements and accessories
used, or for the working conditions on-site or in the servicing area.
WARNING:
It is your responsibility to read and understand the instructions that appear in this chapter
before using the tractor. They must be followed by the user.
Servicing, spare parts, accessories and conditions of use
The user must perform daily servicing on the tractor and keep a logbook of operating hours.
Only genuine Valtra replacement parts should be used when the need arises. Valtra dealers supply these
genuine parts. Contact your dealer if you require any advice on their installation and use. Valtra cannot be
held responsible if the owner uses parts other than the genuine parts sold by Valtra dealers. Similarly, only
accessories specifically adapted to the tractor should be used.
This tractor is designed for normal farming activities only. Use of the tractor for any other activity,
particularly forestry work, is considered to be contrary to normal use of the tractor.
If the tractor is to be used in abnormal conditions that could cause damage to it, such as in deep water or
in paddy fields, consult a Valtra dealer to obtain special instructions.
IMPORTANT:
Valtra under no circumstances covers damage caused by the failure to observe the
conditions of use, servicing and repair for its tractors. There is thus no justification for a warranty claim if
the user fails to observe the recommendations for use, servicing and repair in this manual.

Valtra accepts no responsibility in the event of damage to equipment or personal injury
resulting from the failure to observe the conditions of use, servicing and repair for its tractors.
