5. Changing batteries:
You need four 1,5 Volt alkaline batteries of the size LR6 for this safe. Please use only high quality-products
that have sufficient power, last long enough and are safe of leakage. When the batteries are low, you
will see the message
Lo-BAT
appear on the display entering the code. To test the batteries, just press the
E, if the batteries are high, the display will show
Hi-BAT
. Please return used batteries to official collecting
points, thus helping to protect the environment. To change the batteries, proceed as follows:
•
Open the door according to item 3 of the instructions manual.
•
Open the battery cover, located inside the safe.
•
Replace the batteries

6. Programming your master code:
This safe is equipped with an emergency code. If necessary, you can open the safe without user code.
Keep your code in a safe place but never inside your safe. To programme a new master code, proceed
as follows:

7. Emergency lock:
This safe is equipped with an emergency lock. If necessary, you can open the safe without any code.
The emergency lock allows you to open your safe mechanically. Keep the key in a safe place but never
inside your safe. To open the safe with the emergency lock, proceed as follows:
•
Remove the round plastic cover situated on the right side of the keypad.
•
Insert the key and turn it clockwise.
•
The door will open.
•
The safe is open.
8. Recommendation:
Your safe is equipped with fastening holes. For safety reasons, we recommend that you secure the safe in
its place in such way that it can’t be carried away in case of burglary. The best way to secure the safe
depends on the location, and it may be helpful to get advice from an expert.
