CERAMIC FUEL EFFECT ADDENDUM
This addendum is for the following models: -
BR417
Ultimate, Superflame
BR419
Colourway, Superflame Fireslide, Ultimate Fireslide, Monaco, Lincoln &
Homestyle
Improvements have been made to the replacement fuel effect bed on the above listed
appliances. The new fuel effect bed is considerably different to that currently fitted to
your appliance. Subsequently if you require a replacement part for your current fuel
effect bed you will have been sent a complete new fuel effect bed containing the
improvements.
If your appliance has a model number ending in
VA
e.g. BR417
VA
or BR419
VA
then
you will already have the improved fuel effect bed fitted to your appliance and will be
able to purchase fuel effect bed components as in your installer guide.
For models
NOT
ending in
VA
•
The old fuel effect bed must be removed from the appliance and disposed of.
Guidelines for the disposal and handling of ceramic fuel effect beds can be found in
the owner and installer’s guides supplied with the appliance.

The new fuel bed must be installed as in the “Fitting the Ceramic Fuel effect bed”
section in this addendum. Keep this fitting instruction with the instructions supplied
with the fire.

Never
mix the fuel effect pieces from an old and new replacement fuel bed.
•
Never
add additional coal pieces above those supplied. This can cause incomplete
combustion and be hazardous to health.
For models ending in
VA
•
Replace the fuel effect pieces as in the “Fitting the Ceramic Fuel effect bed” section
in this addendum.
