13. CERAMIC COALS INSTALLATION
13.1
Place the ceramic base coal in the burner
compartment. The bottom rear face of the coal
should rest on the angled ledge at the back of the
burner compartment.
For natural gas appliances,
the
bottom front edge of the coal base should locate
behind the metal spacers at back of the recess in the
burner plaques and touch the spacers
(See figure 22).
For LPG (propane) appliances the bottom front edge
of the coal base should locate directly behind the recess
in the burner plaques and touch the ceramic plaques
(See figure 22).
13.2
Place the ceramic front coal in position in front of
the base coal. Make sure that the side legs of the
front coal are fully seated into the burner tray.
There will be a gap between the rear of the front
coal and the front of the base coal (See figure 23).
13.3
Find the front left multiple coal block. It is marked
“L” underneath. Place it at the left side. The hole in
the block must locate in the round peg at left of the
base coal (See figure 24).
