Manual Control - What is it and why is it there?
The manual control is there as a back up. If the remote control has been damaged,
lost, or the batteries lives have expired, the manual control will enable the
effect and heater to be operated.
The control is located at the bottom left hand corner of the heater behind the ash pan
cover.
What does the button do?
Press the button once.
This turns the
effect on. The indicator lamp will flash green for
approximately five seconds, after this time the lamp will no longer be visible.
Press the button a second time.
This will turn the 1 kW heater on. The
effect will already be on. The
indicator lamp will flash amber for approximately five seconds, after this time the lamp
will no longer be visible.
Press the button a third time.
This will turn the 2 kW heater on. The
effect will already be on. The
indicator lamp will flash red for approximately five seconds, after this time the lamp
will no longer be visible.
Press the button a fourth time.
Pressing this button at any time whilst the
effect or heater are in
operation will turn the
effect and heater off.
