About this Manual

Valco Cincinnati has prepared this manual as an aid for installing, operating, and servicing the VC350A Flexoseal

®

control (Figure 1). This manual provides specific information about the unit, and general guidelines and references
when discussing other equipment such as glue systems, scanners, encoders, and dispensing valves. If you need more
information, contact your Valco Cincinnati representative.

Product Description

The VC350A Flexoseal

®

system is an electronically controlled lap-gluing system. Using an enclosed glue system,

the Flexoseal

®

equipment applies accurate glue patterns to inside or outside laps at speeds of up to 2000 feet per

minute (610 meters per minute). The VC350A applies adhesive directly to the product through glue valves. The
valves deliver a precise, uniform application of adhesive through the system’s fluid-flow-control component. The
VC350A Flexoseal

®

system is used on corrugated box board processing equipment to produce high-quality seals.

The VC350A Flexoseal

®

system consists of three main components:
