Troubleshooting guide
• Depending on the model, your washing machine has several automatic safety features.
Thanks to these features, the system can detect problems in time and trigger the appropriate
safety measures. In many cases, these problems are so minor that they can be resolved in
a matter of minutes.
The washing machine does not start and none of the indicator lights are on. Check that:
• The electrical outlets are plugged into the wall outlet and the power is "ON".
• The wall outlet is working properly (use a bedside lamp or similar device to test it).
The washing machine does not start... and the "Start/Pause" indicator light is flashing.
Check that:
• The door is properly closed (child safety).
• The "Start/Pause" button has been activated.
• The "Water tap closed" indicator lights up. Open the water tap and press the "Start/Pause"
button.
The appliance stops during the cycle (depends on the model). Check that:
• The "Tank full" indicator lights up. Deactivate this option by pressing the "Start/Pause"
button or by selecting and starting the "Drain" program.
• Another program has been selected and the "Start/Pause" indicator light flashes. Reselect
the program of your choice, then press the "Start/Pause" button.
• The door has been opened and the "Start/Pause" indicator light flashes. Close the door and
press the "Start/Pause" button again.
• Check that there is not too much foam inside. Otherwise, start the anti-foaming program.
The appliance will operate in automatic mode after a pause.
• The appliance's safety system has been activated (go to the "Error description table" section).
At the end of the wash cycle, some washing product residue remains inside the dispenser
drawer. Check that:
• The fabric softener compartment grille and the main wash compartment separator are
correctly fitted in the dispenser drawer and all the parts are clean (see "Care and maintenance"
section).
• There is enough water getting inside the appliance. The screen filters in the water supply
system may be blocked (see the Care and maintenance section);
