Trailer hitch mounting with MD30REARKIT or

MD30REARMOUNT

To use MD30REARKIT or MD30REARMOUNT, you need:

Standard 50 mm (2.00 in) trailer hitch (ball) installed on your vehicle.

12 ... 24 VDC power input with a 2 A fuse.

Only licensed experts who have experience in vehicle electronics may install electrical

components. They must adhere to local and state legislation and regulations.

The mechanism is fixed. You cannot adjust the length of the mounting frame.
When mounting MD30 on the rear, Vaisala recommends that you mount the air temperature and
humidity sensor HMP113 on the side of the vehicle away from exhaust gas and engine heat. For that
purpose, you can order MD30EXTSET. When using MD30REARKIT or MD30REARMOUNT with
MD30EXTSET:

Remove HMP113 from MD30.

Mount MD30REARKIT or MD30REARMOUNT.

Mount HMP113 as instructed in
