3.2 Vaisala Subsurface Temperature

Sensor DTS12G

DTS12G can be installed under the road surface with DRS511. The default installation depth is
30 cm (11.81 in). The subsurface temperature information brings added value to the Vaisala
IceBreak model.
In the weather station, DTS12G sensors are connected to DRI701. The weather station
supports up to 2 DRI701 cards, providing connections to a maximum of 4 DTS12G sensors.
