3 Product description
The product is a remote control for the
VAR 60/1 D and VAR 60/1 DW non-central
ventilation units. The remote control con-
trols one single ventilation unit or a system
of ventilation units manually or using vari-
ous automatic operating modes.
The VAZ RC remote control can be used
with VAR 60/1 D wired ventilation units.
The VAZ RCW remote control can be used
with VAR 60/1 DW wireless ventilation
units.
A ventilation system works accord-
ing to the MASTER-SLAVE principle.
One of the ventilation units operates
as the MASTER,. which controls all of
the other ventilation units (SLAVES).
The MASTER is operated with the
remote control or with an optional control
(VAZ CPC/VAZ CPCW).
A centralised ventilation unit is usually set
up as the MASTER. Half of the SLAVES
have the same ventilation direction as the
MASTER, while the other half have the
opposite ventilation direction. The sensors
in the MASTER determine the air humidity
and the brightness.
A regenerator in the ventilation unit ab-
sorbs the heat from the room air during
aeration, and emits it back into the inflow-
ing outdoor air during ventilation.
The maximum distance between the
MASTER and the remote control is 15 m
