5.1 Observing the requirements for
the product's installation site
▶
Ensure that the installation site is dry
and is frost-proof throughout.
▶
Ensure that the control is always ac-
cessible at the installation site.
▶
Ensure that there is sufficient space to
install and operate the control.
5.2 Connecting the control to the
electricity supply

1. Unscrew the cover from the rear of the
control.
2. Connect the terminals L and N

with
the power supply.

Connect the terminals S

with the control lines to the MASTER
ventilation unit.
3. Tightly screw the cover to the rear of
the control.
5.3 Connecting
the wireless control to the
MASTER ventilation unit

Ensure that:
–
A VAR 60/1 DW wireless ventila-
tion unit has previously been set up
as the MASTER.
–
The wireless control is connec-
ted to the electricity supply and is
supplied with electricity for the first
time.
–
The LEDs
(1)
and
(2)
flash con-
stantly.
▶
Use buttons
(4
–
9)
on the control to
enter the eight-digit code that you
previously defined when setting up
the MASTER ventilation unit.

After you enter the correct code, all
of the LEDs
(1
–
3)
light up for one
second.
Note
When entering the code, note
that buttons
(8)
and
(9)
on
the control correspond to the
"maximum ventilation speed"
and the "maximum air humid-
ity" on the remote control.
