The settings described below for the operating modes and advanced functions
only change the zone that was previously set in the "Configure heating circuit"
menu item in the installer level. The setting parameters of any other zones can
be accessed via the Menu button. This document provides a definition for a
zone at a later point.
4.4.1.3 Heating operating modes
The control system uses the target values and time programmes that have been speci-
fied, as well as other parameters such as the heating curve.
The time periods for each zone can be set in the "Time Programmes" function.
Within these time periods, the controller works using the "Day temperature".
Outside these time periods, the controller works using the controller behaviour that the
competent person has preset for the specific customer. There are three controller be-
haviours to choose from:
Eco:
The heating function has been switched off and the outside temperature is moni-
tored. If the outside temperature falls below 3 °C, the controller switches the heating
function on (after the frost protection delay time has elapsed) and adjusts the target
room temperature to the "Set-back temperature" that has been set.
The heating function remains on until the outside temperature rises above 4 °C, after
which the controller switches the heating function off again but continues to monitor the
outside temperature.
Set-back:
The heating function is switched on if the outside temperature falls below
the "Set-back temperature" that has been set. The room set target value is the "Set-
back temperature" that has been set.
