Determination of the bivalence point

On the graph of power curves for the heat pumps:
•
Trace the straight line showing calorific power (5) with the
points 1 (10kW for -8°C) and 4 (heating limit 20°C).
•
At the intersection of curves (3) and (5), locate the bivalence
point (2) to obtain the value of the parameter (T1).
Settings for the command unit
-
T0 (parameter 148) = limit exterior temperature for the heat
pump to function = -10°C
-
T1 (parameter 150) = exterior temperature for the bivalence
point = -3°C
16 User information
At the end of the installation, the installer must:
-
explain the operation of the appliance and its safety devices to
the user, if necessary provide a demonstration and answer any
questions;
-
hand over to the user all the required documentation,
-
fill in the documents where necessary;
-
advise the user of the precautions necessary to prevent
damage to the system, appliance and the building;
-
remind the user to service the appliance annually.

The user shall not interfere with or adjust sealed components.
-
All servicing must be carried out by a competent person
approved at the time by the Health and Safety Executive.
