Installation - Pop-up waste

Dissemble the pop-up waste and 

reassemble onto the basin.
Insert the vertical control rod (with 

knob) down through the hole in the 

back of the mixer body and screw 

into the extension rod.
Unscrew the ball joint retainer 

on the side of the pop-up waste 

body. Insert the short end of the 

horizontal control rod (with ball 

joint) into the waste, slide on the 

clamping washer and clamp in 

position by refitting the ball joint 

retainer. Do not over tighten.
Slide one end of the spring plate 

onto the horizontal control rod, 

followed by the link and finally 

other end of the spring plate.
Slide the control rod link onto the 

vertical control rod and loosely 

tighten.
Test the action of the pop-up 

waste and fully tighten the rod 

link. Adjust the ball joint retainer 

and control rod link as required.
Turn on the water supply and turn 

the mixer on fully to flush through 

any possible debris from the mixer. 

Finally check all new connections 

for leaks.

Pull the waste control rod up to close 

the plug and fill the basin.

Push the waste control rod down to open 

the plug and empty the basin.

Turning the handle clockwise will 

increase the water temperature. 

Turning the handle anti-clockwise will 

decrease the water temperature.
