* 99 corresponds to the maximum level of water hardness of 120 °fH.
Settings for external ion exchanger (water softener)
The appliance must be set up for a 0-5 °fH level of hardness if:
▪
the hardness of the water intake is 40 °fH or above before passing through
the ion exchanger.
Ensure that the water used in the appliance passes through the ion
exchanger. Otherwise no settings have to be made. The appliance
automatically adjusts to the water hardness.
5.5
Rinse agent dosage
The rinse agent dosage is automatically adjus-
ted to the load level and the water hardness.
If the drying result is unsatisfactory, then the dosage can be switched off
manually («Off» setting) or set to one of 12 levels.
▪
If the dishes are still wet or there are water spots, set the dosage to level 6
or higher.
▪
If the dishes are streaky, set the dosage to level 3.
