Troubleshooting Guide

Warning:

1). The safety level of this Treadmill can only be maintained only if it is examined regularly for damage and wear,
      e.g. pins, connection points.
2). Please replace any defective components immediately and/or keep the equipment out of use until it has been repaired.

Problem or Error Code

 

Reason

 

Likely Solution

 

Power is on but  there is no 
display on the Computer

 

Connection or Other Problem

 

1. The Computer  Power Cables are 
incorrectly fitted / assembled / connected.  
2. The Overload Protection Switch is in the 
Fail position.  
3. The Fuse in the Motor Control Board has 
failed . 

 

1. Re-make all connections ensuring a tight, 
correct fitting. 
2. Reset the Overload  Protection Switch. 

 

3. Replace the Fuse.  

 

Power is on and there is 
display on the Computer but 
the Treadmill does not run.

 

Safety Key Not Fitted

 

1. Correctly fit the Safety Key in position on 
the Computer and clip to clothing.

Speed Sensor Malfunction

 

1. The Speed Sensor is broken or installed 
incorrectly.  

 

2. The Optocoupler in the Driver is 
damaged . 
3. Other parts outside the IC are broken. 

 

1. Check the install position of the Speed 
Sensor (5mm max away from the Roller 
Drive) or replace the Speed Sensor. 
2. Replace the Driver or Optocoupler. 
 
3. Replace the Driver.

Motor Overload Malfunction

 

1. Overload of input  current through  
the Motor. 
2. Excess resistance on the Running Belt or 
Roller. 
3. The Driver is damaged. 

 

1. Replace the Motor. 

 

2. Lubricate  the Running Deck or replace 
the Roller.  
3. Replace the Driver .

Damaged Electrical Components

 

1. Damaged or open circuit Signal Wire. 

 

2. The Optocoupler in the Driver is 
damaged.  
3. The Computer is damaged.  

 
1. Check the Signal Wire’s connection to 
the Computer and the Driver. 
2. Replace the Driver or Optocoupler. 
 
3. Replace the Computer Board.

Driver Power Malfunction

 

1. Motor Failure (Open Circuit) or not fitted 
correctly.

 

2. The Driver or Relay is damaged

3. The Driver  Bridge is damaged

4. Other parts outside the IC are  damaged

 

1. Check and / or replace the Motor. 

 

2. Replace the Driver or Relay. 
3. Replace the Driver or Bridge. 
4. Replace the Driver . 

The Running Belt runs 
smoothly without any loading 
but starts , stops and stutters 
under load when used 
normally.  

Inconsistent Operation
