5.20 Modes switch between “SMS” and “GPRS”
5.20.1 The default mode is “SMS”

Send SMS “GPRS+password” to the unit, and it will reply “GPRS ok!” and switch to
“GPRS” mode.

Send SMS “SMS+password” to the unit, it will reply “SMS ok!” and restore to “SMS”
mode.

If you want to track your GPS Trackers with our Web Server, you need to pay us USD15 for 1 year tracking for
each tracker (This cost will change with marketing. We will not inform when the price is changed)
Steps to use our tracking platform
First step: Visit
www.gpstrackerxy.com
and tap “
Register”
to get your own account ID and password and then
log in with your account. You may need to input your tracker's IMEI when registering. Every tracker
purchasing from us has 10 days free trial on this platform (the date starts from the production of the tracker)
Second step: Configure your tracker so that it can connect to our server.
If you want to track your trackers with our platform, you have to set APN (APN user/password if it has) first.
For example, if your SIM Card is supplied by Orange telecom:
APN (Access Point Name): orange
APN User: web
Password: gprs
Now you need to send following SMS commands to your tracker to connect to our server:

SMS: apn123456 orange
The 2

SMS: up123456 web gprs
(Skip this step if your APN has no user and password)
The 3
rd
SMS: gprs123456
(this is to activate GPRS mode)
Tips:
1. Our trackers have saved our server's IP and port already. So DO NOT set again
2.
Do not send
begin123456
again if your tracker is online in the platform. Because this command will
default your track to factory setting (SMS mode)

Consult your GSM provider for correct APN, APN user and APN password. Any wrong spelling of
SMS commands will lead to disconnection to our server.
