Insert the new battery.
Insert the battery with the marking facing up-
wards and firmly insert the cables into the
connectors. Make sure you insert the colored
cables into the correct connectors.
Store the battery cables between the body of
the phone and the battery.
N ote:
W hen replacing the battery, make sure you align the slots on the
battery with the connector pins on the phone. D o not use force to
pull the battery out or push it in.

Attach the battery cover.
Attach the battery cover as shown in the il-
lustration on the right. While taking care not
to trap the cables, make sure the cover is
firmly in place.

Insert the AC adapter plug into the
phone and charge the battery for 12
hours.
N otes:
• Always use the AC adapter provided with your phone to charge
the battery.
• The battery level may not be displayed accurately immediately
after you change the battery. If you fully charge the battery, the
battery level will be displayed correctly again.
