Protocol options
The reader supports different formats to transmit data.
To set the required protocol, do the following:

Protocol options
Protocol
Description
Wiegand
All data is transmitted both online and offline in the Wiegand protocol. The information on the
card decides which format can be used (i.e. Aritech/Tecom ASP or Standard 26-bit format).
Mag stripe
All data is transmitted both online and offline in the Track 2 Magnetic Stripe format. A
card present signal is available on the relay output (violet wire) if selected by configuration
card or option 8 (relay option).
Alliance smart card
Not available at this time.
