The polygon motor MC ready input is not 
given for 10 seconds during the polygon 
motor MC is ON.

Defective harness 
between polygon 
motor MC and 
engine PWB 
(YC30), or 
improper connec-
tor insertion.

Reinsert the connector. Also check for conti-
nuity within the connector harness. If none, 
remedy or replace the harness.

Defective laser 
scanner unit MC.

Replace the laser scanner unit MC (See 
page 1-5-38).
