8. Technical tips
ź
It is recommended to check input parameters aer each power supply failure.
ź
The ion exchange resin is subject to normal wear and tear. The wear and tear of the resin depends on the intensity
of use and physico-chemical properties of water.
ź
Aer installing the device and performing the start-up procedures, check the hardness of the water and, if
necessary, set its parameters to the desired values by turnng the adjusting screw or a bypass valve
(Fig. 6. BNT
head)
.
ź
Do not allow the creation of so called salt bridges.
The programmer's knobs can be used during the manual start-up of the soener or in case of a power failure, when
the knob stops during operation. If so, turn the knob to the SERV mode.
IMPORTANT - We recommend to backfill two-piece devices as close to the connection point as possible due to the
fact that, aer backfilling, vessels are very heavy. The transport of backfilled vessels can be difficult, and in
extreme cases dangerous due to the lack of carrying handles.
Devices of both types should not be carried nor transported in the horizontal position or "upside-down" as this
may lead to a serious damage.
Under no circumstances should devices be moved by holding the control head.
